Y'all, we made it.
You can now find Issue No. 02 of Cypress Magazine at Browser Books and Black Bird Bookstore and Café in San Francisco, CA.
It was surreal to get a text from a friend with a photo of Cypress sitting among the outdoor titles, complete with its own handwritten recommendation card:
“Independent magazine by local makers dedicated to nature, travel, and conservation.”
Seeing the magazine on a real shelf, alongside publications we’ve long admired, made all of this feel real in a new way. This little idea, born during late nights on long road trips, is now something you can stumble upon, pick up, and take home.
We’re deeply grateful to Browser Books and Black Bird for making room for Cypress and to San Francisco’s independent bookstore community for championing small publications and local makers like us.
