Topo 007—Baldy Mountain

Baldy Mountain, Mount Baldy, or Old Baldy is the highest peak in the Cimarron Range of New Mexico. Copper and gold were mined in the area starting in 1866, and it's still surrounded by 70 miles worth of mines in the surrounding mountain.

Today, Baldy Mountain makes up the northwestern border of the Boy Scout's of America's Philmont Scout Ranch, a 140,177 acre wilderness area in the Rocky Mountains dedicated to backpacking treks and other outdoor activities.

"This print is GORGEOUS! The color is vibrant and the edges are crisp. The page provides a nice photo of the seller's artwork.... but it is even more stunning IRL. The artist/shop owner Mac is fantastic. He answered all of my questions promptly and sent the print safely packaged."
